Question
Ms. Tsu discusses how schools are "disentangling themselves from immigration law." Explain what steps they are taking in your own words.
Answer
They aren't collecting information about where their students are born or their citizenship. If they don't have the information, they can't be required to release it. Some schools are also limiting federal immigration authorities' access to campuses by requiring that they first get a warrant to enter the campus.

Question
How does Ms. Tsu describe the language in the recent executive orders? Why is this important?

She describes the language as vague and highlights the overarching authority it gives to the attorney general. This is important because it gives "broad discretion" to the attorney general, for example, without exactly spelling out what will constitute action and what his action(s) will be.
